Of course he hates Nintendo, they're Japanese.

Apparently he doesn't hate Vita though

He doesn't like the Vita, he just likes dual thumbsticks.

Wait, what? "and that Valve's atrocious Greenlight process is far worse than Nintendo's proceedures." - since when?

Since recently. Nintendo's processes have gotten more streamlined and indie-friendly, while Greenlight has grown bloated to the point that it seems quite difficult to get a game passed without a strong, concentrated effort. Shantae: Risky's Revenge, a very highly critically-acclaimed DSiWare game, has been drowning in the sludge of Greenlight for a while now. Mutant Mudds, another well-received eShop title, is having no more luck. It doesn't help that games like Fez are given a free pass, just because...why, again? Because it'll sell on name alone? Meanwhile, indie devs are having an easier time than ever getting their games published on 3DS and Wii U eShops.

And those who argue against my use of the word "atrocious," I'm just going by Bertil's comment that Greenlight is "a far bigger offense than anything Nintendo has done since the SNES era." Now I can't speak for you guys, but I consider WiiWare pretty atrocious. According to Bertil, Greenlight is worse. I'll remove the word, though, if it's that distracting.

EDIT:

plus this--

If you guys ever watched the Indie Game documentry, which I have on Steam lol.... He's a fucking arrogant dick in that one too, so is Jonathan Blow. The other guys are cool though, but those 2 are seriously just arrogant fucking dicks.

I like Jonathan Blow. He's not as douche as Fish, and while very cryptic and with huge ego, he's not that bad. That's my opinion, of course.

I really wanted to play some of Phil Fish's games on WiiWare, but Nintendo was determined not to let me.

They are the only company looking out for gamers, after all

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's Valve's barrier to entry on Steam. Before an indie game is allowed to be sold, a certain number of people have to vote that they would buy it. Basically ensuring that no game that would sell below a certain threshold is allowed to be on Steam... not dissimilar to Nintendo's (now defunct) WiiWare policy of witholding profits from publishers until their games had sold above a certain threshold.

Thank You for not bringing your game over, Phil Fish.
I wouldn't want something created by a person with so much hatred for a company to have to port that game for said company.

And please, for your own sake, stop tweeting about this.

What is a Fez?

If people like his game, he should just be happy, instead he was all emo about people not "getting it" with Braid, I was like WTF? The Super Meat Boy devs are just that much cooler.
