Don't know what happened but VGC literally ate my last thread.

Scans/info here, will update the OP in a bit: http://gamingeverything.com/44180/atelier-escha-logy-heading-to-ps3/

Great anime-style graphics though (character model). 6 member battles are also cool and rare among RPGs.

Edit:

“Atelier Escha & Logy” is the next game in the long-running series. Leaks from the latest Japanese magazines indicate you’ll be playing as one of two main characters – Escha, a female and Logy, a male. You’ll choose between two at the start of the game.

The latest Atelier will feature a 2-line battle system. 3 party members stay in the front while 3 remain in the back. You’ll have a total of six party members that can switch between the two lines during battle.

Atelier Escha & Logy launches in Japan on June 27. A limited edition will be available for 10,290 yen. First print copies will come with the PS2 title Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy.

Pink Hair? Check

Anime Eyes? Check

Short Skirt? Check

Even as a manga lover as I am, I must agree.

In line with the OP:

All I really see is concept art with small gameplay screens.

I can't really tell how amazing those graphics are from the scans, but I like the fact that it's being made with the Dynasty Warriors engine. Can Atelier Musou be far off?!

I have ironically never played an Atelier game despite being an anime/JRPG fan. Now I want to try one.

Anyone want to recommend the best one to play on PS3? I saw Atelier Ayesha but don't know if that's the one I should get or any of the previous ones first.

Zoom in!

I think the bigger dialogue shot looks really, really good.

I was too fast. And with not enough information. :(

I like the dual protagonist idea, anyway.

I'd say start with Ayesha if the price is right.  It's the beginning of a new trilogy (I assume) and the series has been mostly improving with each installment.
