probably but I doubt it. the only real system seller out right now is monter hunter but that wont be enough for wii u to outsell vita. lego games arent exactly known to sell systems.

monster hunter should probably see a boost in japan but it usually sells less than a million in the west

It came out at launch in Japan. So there will be only a minor boost this week.

@OP: When is DQ coming out?

March 30.  So I think we can safely say Japan will be stagnant for Wii U.  MH, Lego, Need for Speed, as well as MH&ZombiU bundles and retailer discounts will only impact the western markets. A spike in NintendoLand sales indicates a jump in deluxe sets of about 50% in the UK. If MH bundles are also selling well, and if that trend caries through other markets, there may be a meaningful jump in hardware.

Early indications are that Wii U sales are up in the UK a signifcant amount, perhaps more than 50%.  I think Vita sales will be down again in Japan this week, perhaps to sub-20k levels.  So, assuming Wii U is up in the rest of Europe and in the US with the launch of new titles, and Vita is down, it seems reasonable to say they will switch places in the rankings, this week, no?

These meaningless and often incorrect predictions are getting tiresome.  You should wager something if you're going to post stuff like this.

This is a sales site.  Reading about, analizing and predicting sales is what we do.  Feel free to ignore such clearly titled threads in the future so you don't have to waste everyone's (including your's) time with pointless posts. Others may want to discuss their expectations for the coming week.

I don't think Wii U will outsell Vita this week and even if it did, it'll be really close

Pirates Warriors 2 did come outfor the Vita (and the PS3) this week. One Piece is HUGE in Japan, so the Vita will see some sales there, it'll probably be in the 30k range.

MH never caught onto the western market so I doubt it'll move that many systems.

It's possible. Both will be around 50k, according to VGC. But looking at NPD, we may need to wait a while to see the true picture.

If it was just the multi-plate games the WiiU would not have done it. But the Lego City exclusive should seal the deal for a few weeks. Hopefully there is something in April releasing as well. I believe a fighting game is.....?

There's Pikmin and Wonderful 101 coming, and a few smaller titles.

But yeah, Wii U should hopefully increase 10k from current sales for a while. Still not great.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Looks like OP will be around 35-45k so won't help the Vita much. And Lego City will likely be the bigger seller, but those sales won't come out until 2 updates time. So any and all increases will only appear in the US market...

Unlikely. Vita sold about double what the Wii U did this past week. I don't see Vita falling that much or the Wii U increase that much.

Massive 40k for Vita in Japan this week... not looking good for my prediction, lol!!
