In UK these games sells more than GoW games.

What is the point?

According to VGC:

Killzone 3 sold 640k in its first year in Europe
Killzone 2 sold 857k in its first year in Europe

LittleBigPlanet sold 714k in its first year in Europe
LittleBigPlanet 2 sold 682k in its first year in Europe

God of War 3 sold 944k in its first year in Europe.

So, no. God of War is bigger in UK than those two franchises in Europe. And I doubt the Playstation gamers in UK are radically different than the Playstation gamers in the rest of Europe.

God of War is one of the most popular franchises Sony has got in the UK. It is at No. 3 behind GT and Uncharted.

So because of one game the entire franchise is bigger? Makes sense, especially since Ascension is the second biggest GoW launch in the UK...


Which God of War game on PS3 should have been used for comparison then?


My point still stands: Not one of the 4 games of the 2 franchises you mentioned was able to outsell the 1 God of War game. Therefore God of War is a bigger franchise for Sony in the UK. And therefore Gears of War: J outsold the no. 3 Sony-franchise 3:1 in the UK.

Just stop it now. You can't spin this.

 

man, we get it, you get your bragging rights okay?  MS's 2nd biggest exclusive series outsold Sony's 3rd biggest exclusive series in the UK where the hardware difference is 3 million...


It out sold it in Japan as well with 6 million difference....
