He's right. MH just doesn't fit on 3DS and it would be much better on Vita (like RE Revelations btw). Nintendo moneyhatting Capcom is a fundamental problem that makes MH half as good as it could be on more capable platforms.

How could the game really be that much better on Vita? Graphics? An exponentially greater number of monsters? What?

Funny thing is that the 3DS version could have more monsters on it as it is.  It isn't maxed out.  So the Vita version, if they were to make one, wouldn't have had more monsters.  Unless you mean on screen, which for a MH game wouldn't be advised considering how the game plays.  Open world not split by maps?  It wouldn't be MH3 anymore.  Any way you split this, it wouldn't be much better ont he Vita.  Ryuzaki always says stuff like this, always.

It's funny to see people who are hurt about MH4 being a 3DS exclusive defend him.

Exactly!!! I mean i kno perfectly well it would be an awesome game on vita as well, but to diss Nintendo+ not being on Sony Handheld? Its Going to be Bayonetta 2 all over again lol! 3DS isn't expensive, just buy 1 or just dont play MH again! simple as that

Open world would also increase the difficulty. Imagine if Diablos could just keep following you, forever...

The controls by default.

Bigger and more varied world (512MB vs 128MB ram) and textures like they werent ripped from a PS2 game.

Right, but as i was discussing with MDMAlliance, would that really change the way the game plays?

One thing i thought of that i would enjoy from a stronger console for Monster Hunter would be more sophisticated hitboxes on monsters (you especially notice it with Qurupeco, as those flints on his wings are much tougher than other parts, and so it ends up looking like stabbing the same place twice in a row will produce a different result, if you accidentally brush the flintstone hitbox), and an improved physics engine, though i've seen Wii games with better hit detection and better physics than Monster Hunter, so it seems like that's something Capcom just isn't dealing with.

The controls? That's absolutely laughable.

I'm sorry you have not played MH3U on the 3DS, I'm not even sure you have held a 3DS at all, but it's really comfortable to use. With the CPP it's even better and you have the very handy touchscreen all the time.

The controls would not be better on Vita, it's just an excuse people cling on because they are upset they didn't get the game on their platform of choice.

That dude has some issues and should not be that loud but I do have to say he has some balls by being that offensive being a developer himself.
