Looks like some of the stuff I got to see behind closed doors. Difference is, my play-through was pre-alpha and was STILL butter smooth!

This one is also pre alpha...God help us if it isn't

Is it so bad? oO

For me it looks great and run smooth and it's also off-screen footage so... i really can't understand all these complaints on the graphic.

It doesn't look even remotely bad, but it definitely falls behind E3 in almost all aspects (especially combat animations). Now, there might be several reasons for that IMO

1) It's pre alpha (duh!)

2) Demo takes place in a dark, rainy building (no lighting,TLOU's strongest asset)

3) Combat animations are different than when fighting humans ( I hope it is at least)

4) The dumb HUD/pick up icons pull you out of realistic world/atmosphere

Good points... better wait for the final version before judge. :)

I can definitely live with these graphics and the HUD, but i really hope they improve the melee animations...E3 animations were absolutely flawlessly perfect

dude at this stage its beta nothing more.. ND is focusing on bug fixes and little tweaks... whats in the video is basically final verison.... i highly doubt ND would put a pre alpha build for people to play cuz it would be in much worser shape, hence pre alpha would be a year old bulid (Unlikely used) than what is shown in the video which is nothing to complain about :)

Maybe they just used an older version for the Pax event...

It's the same demo they showed to the press about 2 months ago, and that one was definitely pre alpha. If this isn't alpha, how do you explain it looking worse than E3 demo?

Agree with this... it's possible that they hadn't a beta version ready to show so they decided to use an older version.

cool
One question is the game based on the same engine like uncharted ?

An upgraded version of the Uncharted engine.
