Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ken Levine tweets he was ‘roofied’ and sh*tstorm ensues

The joke may have been of bad taste, but some of these reactions were wayyy more immature. This is why I hate the internet, only place where ppl think its socialy acceptable to reply to a socialy unacceptable comment with ''Fuck off and die''.

That being said, I don't rly like Ken Levine, so I'm not gonna spend much time and energy defending him.

He shouldn't have apologized he should have made another even more offensive joke LOL, freedom of speech people.

"Just to be clear, I'm fine with the fact that Jeff raped me. But that roofie was NOT COOL."

LOLOL, seriously Ken should have went even further!

it's like that Daniel Tosh situation where some girl complained about him making a rape joke.

He got some roofies in him? Bet his ass really hurts now

Liberals and other politically correct individuals would have a heart attack if they attended any sort of school in this day and age, or even so much as left their house for an hour. This crap humour is common place everywhere amongst kids and youth today. Perhaps these people that get so easily offended shouldn't be using social media as pervasive as Twitter and lock themselves in some sort of bubble, instead of taking everything personally. Just a suggestion.

The whole world needs to relax. People take everything far to seriously these days. Seems you cant say anything without offending someone.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I actually think the joke should be pretty obvious in the context is was used in.

Quite funny too.

Well done Ken!

Just like the hubbub about the GOW:A trophy, another case of guys believing that if they act like a feminazi on the internet, it will somehow lead to them getting laid in the real world. Quite sad, actually.

Why do people always apologize when their in the right? he should have attacked back full throttle

Well, for one thing he's trying to sell a new video game...

But it's pretty tiresome how many people seem to derive meaning for their lives from being offended by everyfuckingthing.

Oh my God.... so f'ing true.

That's the problem with social media.  For all it's perks, a major downside is that things get blown way out of proportion because no one has context or the whole story, or even know what actually happened at all, and it just totally spirals out of control.  It's just an impossible situation.
