Screw the Luigi hate, he is my 3rd fav video game character, better than his bro in Smash and he has the good sense to stay out of the Mushroom Kingdom

FYI why do people really care about the game getting 90 on Metacritic? Whats the difference, its not going to stop me from getting the game, this will probably be the only game i get for 3ds this year and im going to enjoy the hell out of it.

for people who only buy depending on a review! I dont care, gamespot gave it a 6.5, that wont stop me from playing one of the most UNIQUE games out there

I pity those people, Metacritic is good for looking up multiple sources to see what the general consensus is. And i mean actually READING the damn reviews and not just looking at the score and calling it a day. I use it, but it no way dictates what i buy. I enjoyed games that have 77 (ToGf) and their are games that i thought had too high a score (NMH 83)

just curiosity what games are this? l couldn't get the abbreviation

Geez, it seems a lot people here are low on cash, and I thought I was poor :(....

Steam had a Sale for AC franchise and I had to pick it up......

Now I'm torn between SC II: HotS and Luigi's Mansion

Eurogamer Germany 7/10:

"[...] Luigi's Mansion qualifies as a really good game. It's just not the fantastic one it could have been."

Statements like this make me cringe.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Because they are vague and smell of undue criticism?

Love and tolerate.

Because they should take the game and review it for what it is and not for what they wish it would be. Nobody took Skyrim and measured it up against some imaginary perfect RPG, even though it has glaring flaws.

This doesnt make sense, if a game has glaring flaws thats why it probably is getting s 7 and 8s instead of 9 and 10s. I reviewer probably noted some flaws or even design decisions where he/she felt that the game would have been even better if it was ironed out.

That's not what the review says.
