married with children was the only show that I really got into. I mean I watched it every chance I got, when it orginally aired. It was on for a decade.

I've always been a big fan of Seinfeld but I think my all time favorite comedy is Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  That show is like Seinfeld on crack.  It’s such a ridiculous show with awesome characters.  It’s probably the only tv show where I don't have a favorite character (It changes from episode to episode).

I highly recommend Sunny in Philadelphia to comedy fans who haven't seen it before.  Honestly it can be slightly difficult to get 'into', but there’s a good chance you'll be hooked after a few episodes.

The best seasons would be imo 2, 3, 4 (they have 8 seasons and more on the way in case your wondering).  There are tons of hilarious episodes, I'll list a few:

Season 2- Dennis and Dee go on Welfare, Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom

Season 3- Dumpster Baby, The Gang gets Wacked (2 part), Mac's a Serial Killer

Season 4- Manhunters, Gang Solves the Gas Crisis, Sweet Dee has a Heart Attack

I could go on about how I love this show but I wanna hear from you.  What's your favorite comedy tv show?

always sunny in philadelphia is pretty bad show. stupid and not clever at all. Seinfeld was just okay. I watched it every now and again, but I was never a huge fan.

I understand its really not for everyone, but if you like Seinfeld you probably will like Sunny and vise versa.

I Can't believe i only saw one person say Louie....

Louie is probably the best new sitcom since Seinfeld, Have you seen season 3????!
Can't believe no one said Malcolm in the middle either ><

Thats 70's show
HIMYM
Big bang theory
The bible
Wilfred
THE LEAGUE!!!! (one of the funniest shows out there also)
Sunny in philly
New girl
Rasing Hope
more, but cant think lol

I completely forgot about Louie.  I've seen a couple episodes and thought it was hilarious.  It's really a unique show, well... I have never seen anything like it before.

To the OP : I really used to enjoy Its always Sunny in Philadelphia , but for some reason they kept makin Charlie dumber and weirder to the point of turning him border-line retarded. Its clear he is the central character of the cast, and Cgharlie Day the best actor of the lot so i guess it irked me how the writers were just Homer-ising him. Stopeed watching at season 5, i think

Yea he's a strange character.  In season 1, especially early on, he seems like a normal person(compared to others on the show).  The longer the show has gone on the dumber he's gotten.  Some episodes he's 'witty', usually when another character has the story focused on them.  Over time I've really come to appreciate Charlie's humor even if it is over the top a lot of times.

You should check out the episode called 'Charlie: king of the rats'. I think that's what it's called, he's really funny in that one.  It's in season 5 if u haven't watched it already.

^woop, dunno what happened there.
Anyways, I was saying, I just think the writers keep adjusting Charlie to suit whatever plot they are writing. My personal favortie episode would be "The nightman cometh", where, as per requirements, Charlie is un-retardeded(un-retardationed?). I saw you mentioned Seinfeld. I feel Kramer is a great example of perfect balance between weirdn and intelligent, And they keep him that way throughout.

I agree with that^, Charlie and Mac actually do a lot of the writing especially in the earlier seasons.

I like Kramer too but I would have to say George is my favorite Seinfeld character

George is by far one of the best written sitcom characters ever. My personal favorite as well. I guess thats probably because Larry David(co creator with jerry seinfeld) had modelled George on himself
