It's probably been mentioned but maybe I missed it. It makes sense for them to remaster X-2 as well. Most of X-2's assets came from X. So it couldn't have cost them too much more to update it as well.

Famitsu has a new feature on Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD this week. Square Enix provided new information about the game’s visual upgrades, revealed why the two releases are separate on the PS Vita, gave a progress update on development, and more.

- Pre-rendered movies in PS2 version are now in HD and look much improved

Yes, after getting one of the worst game conversions in history, we finally get to play the game without a fucked up aspect ratio and game speed.

This is one of my favourite games ever and I've never experienced it how it was designed (how lame) but with two annoying black bars, characters and environments that are too wide, and, worst of all, slowed down by 17%.

Honestly, I can't wait to play the game how it was originally designed, that is the biggest improvement there.

No chance. It's all downhill from here.
