Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Deus Ex for Wii U confirmed? What do you think?

well it is almost their last hope to sell more copies... and it's a "new" game for WiiU.

Interesting but not great!

it makes me want to go back and read the crazy predictions like Final Fantasy being a wiiu exclusive lol

the game is overpriced though

If i wanted that game i could have bought it for €5(DLC included) on Steam during the last summer-sale, or the last fall sale, or the Christmas-sale. But i didn't because i didn't want it. This is insulting

The game was also given away for free on PSN+

So when is Deus EX Trilogy going to be released on PS3 and X360?

I guess any games are good and it's good to see more support for Wii U. However, I see little point in old games and 3rd parties should really just focus on the really high-end titles for the system. It's a Nintendo system. You know consumers are going to be offered high quality 1st party titles in the very near future. 3rd parties should focus on just bringing the kind of games that can compete with Nintendo 1st party for gamer interest. Titles like Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, RE, AC, Batman, GTA or big new titles like Watch_Dogs or Destiny. The rest will have a hard time finding an audience, especially at this early, low install base stage.

this game is DoA nothing more or less

no support is bad but this kind of support is horrible thing, if true then they try to convert WiiU to late and cheap port machine, i hope no sane Nintendo fan can allow this.

More games doesn't hurt, but it's about as nonsensical as that Epic Mickey 2 vita announcement.

I doubt the Wii U is getting the newest Deus Ex coming. It will be wayyyyyy too much for the Wii U to handle unless the game is severely dumbed down to work on the Wii U. As for Human Revolution, SE would be crazy to risk porting for bad sales. Then again, a cheap sale is better than no sale.

A new Deus Ex would work fine on the Wii U if it arrived early next gen. Heck early in the Wii's life the only major difference in its multiplat games was image quality. Why would Wii U be different, especially with the gap being smaller this time around?

The Wii U is wayyyyy behind the coming consoles. Most of the major games that are coming out are going to be using graphics and ram power thats not even in the Wii U's wheelhouse. This means more polygons, longer draw distance, larger and broader worlds, more people and things that can fit nto that world.

I never asked for this!

...

Okay I'll check it out. I've heard nothing but good things from folks who played the game.

Epic Mickey 2 for Vita? Deus Ex Human Revolution for Wii-U?

I do not understand these decisions this week.
