Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Deus Ex for Wii U confirmed? What do you think?

Hahaha. And I thought SE was only screwing with Vita support. It really seems like they are doing their best not to help the struggling platforms. The weirdest thing though, is they are losing money doing so... So weird, so stupid, so SE.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I seriously doubt this is all SE has for WiiU.  They ARE, after all, launching DQX in Japan.  And this is not the leak that the FF3 Miiverse spoke of.

As for this, I'm hoping that S-E's expectations for this are modest.

I think Square Enix needs to focus on Kingdom Hearts III instead of an (extremely) late port. Sheesh, what are you doing with your life, Square Enix? Get it together, you're better than this!

I agree; KHIII would have been a better choice, but on the other hand it isn't ready yet.

Well this isn't the first time they've made a questionable decision on a Nintendo platform.  Long before 3DS took off, they put on Heroes of Ruin, which wasn't that great of a title.  It bombed, yet Square-Enix still supported the handheld because its subsequent titles were successes in Japan.

And even with this, we still have DQX coming to Japan in March 30th, and the mystery FF3 leak on Miiverse (which is obviously not Deus Ex).  So I doubt this is a case of S-E "screwing" WiiU as much as trying to figure out what sells and what doesn't.  This won't be their only title for WiiU.  You'll see.

Depending on reviews and price I'll be picking it up :)

Meh. I want new games, not old ports.

its better than nothing and at least its a port of a good game, if you've never played it before

It's obviously not related to the FF3 Miiverse leak though.  I think that'll be something else.  Either way we'll find out in the future.

Its one of the best games recently, you need it.

I think it's stupid. Unless they make major changes, which I doubt, I will not spend $60 for a year old port of a game with minor improvements.
