Weapons alone around 200 pages. They are arranged by type, but it lack the weapon threes, good nonetheless including all ingredients needed.

Ummm thats not that surprising, have you played freedom unite? the content is OMG so huuuge

MH3U isnt as big as MHFU, but its the next biggest MH, so pretty big. 500+ pages doesnt surprise me at all!!

The MH wiki will have everything in no time though Re weapons, and thats all you really need. You shouldnt really be playing monster hunter if you are using a book to beat the monsters. It'd be a bit like trying to play demons/dark souls on an 'easy' setting... whats the point! (I know they dont have difficulty settings, just illustrating a point)
