I was just watching a show on TV the other night and it was about how much plastic surgery has grown, especially in South Korea.   The program said something like 70% of Korean women had some form of surgery or something.    I was a little shocked by that number until I googled it, and saw the actual suvrey.    

Then afterwards I was bored on YouTube and started looking at some Korean celebrities, and I couldn't even tell they were asian.  They had big eyes, blonde hair and straight noses.  They looked just like white people. 

That being said, I don't have anything against them or anything, I just see it as dismal for them to try so hard to adopt the looks of westerns, or to comply to the Asian standards of beauty.    Or is that Koreans think America's are the coolest things alive? 

Anywho, what's your opinon of the topic? DISCUSS!

i'm not a fan of plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons.

I was kinda talking about facial surgery, though I probably should have been more clear. XD

I once read an article about a japanese/korean man taking his wife to court because she had previously had plastic surgery and he found out because his baby was ugly :L, it was pretty hilarious

I think plastic surgery is only justified for medical reasons. For example deviated septum or breast cancer.
Or even mental problems such as depression or suicidal thoughts casued by poor self-esteem.
