Nah man, err'body loves it.
Err is correct english, and er is just as acceptable as the alternatives you suggested. Also er is also perfectly acceptable to er, display a pause er and that you er have some signs of er hesitation or uncertainty in what you er wish to er say er.
-Er
All it means us that you use it to show that you might be a little uncomfortable asking said question but you have to do that kind of thing sometimes
said: I'm sick and tired of seeing people use this disgusting word almost every single day. What is this? Is this some sort of UK or Canadian lingo? I wouldn't be surprised if it was. They don't say this in America. |
I am more sick of this attitude which can be found all over the internet.
"America" is not the center of the universe. Deal with it.
"Also, some cultues, like the French, can't make the "r" sound due to biological inconsistencies. So when a person just out of the blue says "err" it's like they're just trying to insult French people for no reason. They're not even making a point! They're just making the "r" sound specifically to target French. Ethnocentrism needs to stop!"
Err, excuse me? This has to be the worst, err... argument I've ever seen. (PS, "Uhm" is ridiculously annoying. The 'h' doesn't belong there!)
I use ''freedom'' has my verbal pause none of that socialist ''err'' or ''hum''
Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
I prefer to err on the side of caution when choosing which words not to use.
