Congrats to the German football, their teams have been clearly superior this time.

Thank God I don't like football. Going to work yesterday (I'm in Barcelona) was depressing, and today it's sad to see them more happy just because of what happened to Madrid.

Please excuse my bad English.

can't wait for financial fairplay coming in..

If a club has more money to spend, Why stop it from spending ?

But clearly RM pays more for some players than they are actually worth.   Pepe for €30m is a joke.

@ zumnupy10 "If a club has more money to spend, Why stop it from spending ?"

That's a good question. I am split over the answer.

I speak from an English Premier League perspective.

Man Utd is the richest club in England - probably the world - yet a couple years ago was almost $1bn in debt. I am not sure what the figures are now,

Man City, Chelsea etc according to Sky Sports operated for a long time - and probably still do on an expenditure that greatly exceeds the income.

Properly managed teams in the black but without the economic buying power of the big indebted teams cannot compete.

What uefa wants is for teams to be properly manage like any other business and operate within their respective incomes.
I see no problems with this.

At the same time if a team wants to run up massive debts and jeopardize their club that's their business and I see no problem with that either.

If pushed i would rather teams operate within their relative budgets and at a profit without inducing massive debts.

Not good for the smaller teams but either way isn't.

Lewandowski needs to come to Man Utd.

Because you dont already have enough firepower with Van Persie, Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck?

Welbeck is scoring enough though.

Welbeck is scoring enough though. Could do with better midfield though.

Welbeck is what he is - a 4th choice striker that plays in a variety of positions.

Lewandowski will not take the place of a 4th choice striker. He will want to be number 1 or number 2. The only way Man U will sign a player like Lewandowski is if Rooney leaves like the rumors suggest he may.

I agree with you about your midfield, though its more attacking options out wide you need. Part of the reason Welbeck hasnt scored as many as he should has been because he's been played out wide. Nani and Anderson arent good enough and you need a replacement for Giggs.

Id also take a good, strong look at your back 4. De Gea has been unbelievable for you this season. Without him, things wouldnt look so rosy for the likes of Ferdinand and Co.
