Forums - General Discussion - S4: Samsung copies floating touch from Sony

I don't think I need to educate you on off topicflaimbait trolling... youre a veteran and should know better

Seems like a bit of a lame feature IMO.

Who cares really, Samsung S4 will wipe the floor with all of Sony's smartphones in sales.

Whats the point? Looks fairly useless and gimmicky to me.

best touch advance....?

The way I can use my Nokia 920 with gloves on or even use with any item, pen, keys, banana!! Awesome at a football match when it is sub zero, will be great when skiing under the Matterhorn in a couple of weeks too.

I did not realize the Nokia 920 could do this.

Is it not a capacitive screen? I have heard of the extremely durable and scracth resistance of it, but not that you could use any object whatsover to control the touches.

its amazing frankly.

I just tried this on my Galaxy S3 and was actually surprised to see it work... so maybe this is a rather common feature in all the latest top phones?

lol I can direct a comment to you without quoting you. it has nothing to do with guts. I'm the only one in the thread who said out right what you did. Guts have nothing to do with it.

As for your comment I don't see how Nokia (the phone youve been advertising since you got) is apart of Sony or Samsung. Especially the feature you pointed out

What feature?!?

The "glove mode" where you can use gloves, keys, other objects to move stuff on your screen.

What version is yours? Mine is USA, Verizon.

All I know is that it worked for me using my shirt, my keys, and a pen.
