I guess this is a thread for fanboys. Only a fan of one system or another would having any such foolish feelings. A Gamer on the other hand will purchase a system because it has the games they want to play. Spec sheets and marketing rhetoric means nothing. As a gamer, I will get the PS4 if the price is right and it has the games I want to play. The same will be for the MS and Nintendo console as well.

Currently, I do not see anything to get hyped about the PS4. The specs are not big won on the GPU or CPU side. They are pretty much in line with what you would expect to come out at this point in Time. Sony deciding to make a console developer friendly. Well, you can thank MS for that. Who would think that competition would turn a dull edge sharp.

ugh do we need to respond every thread with a counter thread.. it's silly, childish and dissappointing that the forum is heading this way

I know it's childish of me, but I do love some childish tongue in cheek humor. I love my rascals.

We all do something like that on this site from time to time....

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being excited or expectant for the new PS4.

What is somewhat annoying is a PS4 domination sentiment that already exists in SOME users here. Its childish and very, very premature. Downplaying all things PS4 is equally silly and premature.

The reality is that we don't know anywhere near enough about anything yet to be either over confident or overly negative.

Being hyped is fine, declaring domination and trying to rub noses in it is pathetic and irritating.

That.

There's this thing called bad winners and sore losers. Not pointing at any particular side, mind you. I'm just saying that it's okay to "lose" and say "The other side did a great job. They deserve their success." It's also okay to "Win" and say "We're on top of the mountain. No need to trash everybody else".

Seems like, no matter which side of the fence gamers fall on, they still like to attack the other side.

I mean the Top Dog said it, if you talk back you'll regret it, even though he's an Ozzie, he's more gangster than Bill Cosby.

Yes they kinda are.
The PS3 even after the many mistakes it made(especially at the start) will finish with ease at 2nd place behind the Wii.
Now they think "OMG what will the PS4 achieve if it does EVERYTHING right and has the complete 3rd Party support?!" - And this is how it looks right now.
They know they have to switch sides and its hard for some people to accept that.
