Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 7:19 PM ET) -- A New York federal jury on Wednesday ordered Nintendo Co. Ltd. to pay just more than $30 million to Tomita Technologies International Inc. in a patent infringement suit over 3-D technology.
The jury, which issued its verdict late Wednesday afternoon, awarded damages to Tomita, which had alleged in the suit that Nintendo's 3DS hand-held video game system infringed a patent covering technology for displaying 3-D images that can be viewed without using special glasses.
