I put 'no' but I mean that as an average. I think currently as an average most people who own Nintendo consoles are rather casual. That is by no means a bad thing as it means Nintendo has created very accessible consoles. Of course there are still millions of Nindendo gamers who are core gamers.

I'm a PC gamer and it's the same situation. There are millions of core PC gamers, but we are simply outnumbered by people who play flash/facebook games ect because they are so accessible on any PC.

I do consider Nintendo gamers Core if they play Zelda etc....

Why should we would like to be called core gamers?

That's too vague a question no? I mean over 90 million wiis out there....there's no real way of checking how many of the owners are casuals.

How could a Nintendo gamer be anything but a core gamer? I mean Nintendo games aren't time wasters like Angry Birds. I guess Wii Sports is casual, but I wouldn't consider a soccer mom that plays Wii Sports and Wii Fit a Nintendo gamer. Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Star Fox, Pilot Wings, F-Zero, etc. are all core games and those are the games that Nintendo fans like me buy Nintendo systems for.

Well yea, it does, PC is capable of graphics higher then PS3/360, a lot of 360 console exclusives are available on PC, and PC has it's own selection of quality exclusives (Starcraft 2, The Witcher 1, Civilization V, etc). PC is an HD system (unless you have a PC like mine which struggles with Halo 1).

Wii U just came out, so it doesn't count (what did the core gamers play from 2006-2012, other then Wii?)
