according to joystiq the designer promises a demo and a 2008 release date. Personally, I don't really beleive it, but maybe it could make it this year in Japan?

If it is released this year (and I still think that's a big if) it will be very late December and in Japan only.

anyways I have heard news about Enix doing all translations at the same time and they are aiming for a WW relese... but I guess hell would freeze if that happened

well considering FFXIII was originally supposed to be released on the PS2 and then upgraded to PS3 status they probably already had the basics of the game planned and was in pre-production. I could see the game being done by the end of the year.

Is anyone going to get a japan import?
