The question is if it can overcome the hugely negative word of mouth (which likely wouldn't be overcome by the fact that the game as it is now is much closer to what folks expect from Ninja Gaiden), and the utter lack of hype for the game (most of the hype seemed to be just from Nintendo haters happy that the game flipped)
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I'm going to keep my eye on it. I'm the type of gamer that likes to finish what he starts, and I've been playing the series since way back so NG3 is inevitable for me. I probably won't pick i up at launch, but if the issues the Wii U version had have been addressed - such as slowdown and graphical issues - then I'll pick it up this year. At 40 USD and with major upgrades I have little issue making a purchase, but as I mentioned earlier I will watch and see first. If it's still not up to standards I'll wait for the 20 range. Team Ninja's ports have been subpar lately with all sorts of issues - especially frame rate related.
Playstation = The Beast from the East
Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
A more responsive Ryu and playable Kasumi sold this to me. Still mad that this wasn't the vanilla edition.
Time for hype
Man, I got the Wii U version in either late December or early January and I didn't really like it much. I fired it up yesterday to check out the new free costumes and I loved it. Well, maybe not "love" but I did really enjoy the time I spent with it. I'm only on day 3 (out of 7, I assume) but I don't regret the purchase, now. Some games just need time to grow, I guess.
my expectations are not high.
i just want a fast mindless bloodbath -but an over 70 meta score would help-

In the United States it will retail for $40.
