PS3 has been pretty close to 3DS this year.  They've been less than 10k apart for recent weeks.  Both are receiving a flurry of software but if PS3 gets a price cut at E3 I think it could happen.

EDIT:  Let's make the cutoff September 1st.  So no Pokemon included.  Also consider PS3 getting a price cut at or before E3 possibly.

June? MH4 and Animal Crossing NA vs Last of Us. 3DS has this one.

3DS line up has more system sellers this year.

Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter 4, Luigi's Mansion, etc...

    For the sake of argument let's say there'll be a PS3 pricecut at E3 and put the cutoff at September 1.

    and if PS3 gets a price cut in June (after E3 PS4 hype to keep the sales from diving)?  $200 is a big point to get to (360 has been there for years and PS2 reached it just 2 years into its life).
