So, I'm from Venezuela and currently living in Costa Rica. I moved because of the horrible situation Venezuela have been throw in this past 14 years. This man made a lot of people miserable, and a lot of people is still suffering. I don't want to go into more details but basically Hugo Chavez deserved to died, period, and I've never been so happy in my life.
But the question is this...is it ok to be this happy? I don't believe in God and I don't belong in any religion, so don't throw religious answer at me. It's kinda weird to explain but I honestly never been this happy in my life and I want to know if this is bad or good.
I will keep celebrating his death. BTW I'm starting to get drunk while typing this. Second time in my life I will ever get drunk, that's how happy I am.

No problem at all. Someday, someone might be happy when you die as well, depending of what you do in your life.

It'll only merit happiness if you believe his death will change anything. Will this falter the Bolivarians?

I'm very happy right now. But if I'm being honest with myself I hardly doubt things will change for the better, in 30 days there will be elections: Nicolas Maduro vs (most likely) Capriles Radonski (the candidate that go against Chavez in the past elections), and who knows what will happen that day. All the people that voted for Chavez will most likely vote for Maduro, so in the end it will probably stay the same. But I still have hopes and someday I may revisit my home country again.

It all depends on why you are happy. If ones reasons were selfish, then yes it would be bad for that person to feel happy.

That's ok, Chavez was crap, he did deserve to die, enjoy your party.
I would be so happy if somehow a bomb explodes in the Portuguese parliament, exterminating all that scum that exploit people.

Yes it's bad if you're happy someone died. However if you're happy that he's not in power and happy at the prospect of change it's ok.
