I used to use a lot of Long Sword and Heavy Bow Gun and only Switch Axe during certain times in Tri but since they buffed Switch Axe, that's all I've been using so I'm getting pretty good with it lol. Still building my bow set, but going to concentrate on finishing my Selene X set first, just need 1 sapphire and 5 earth dragongems =_=;

Stuck at a wall. Lightcrystal stops me from better lances, and apparently i can't farm Rathian offline (the monster seems to have the same durability as online rathian, unless i'm missing something) and can't really get too many reliable hunting partners during the day.

Hmm, unless i go for the Azure Crest, but that still leaves me with the armor problem...

I got more and more behind you guys. Over easter I was traveling to my family, so only little time for MH on 3DS. But I'm interesting in Online, so Cone: when will be the next european hunt? Or should I start one?

do tundra gathering missions and mine there, you'll get light crystals that way.

Do the cold stones gathering quest, it seems to notably up your chances of recieving lightcrystals, its the easiest way we have found to get them. Far better than just trying to get them in general other quests, plus you can get them as quest rewards too this way, rather than just getting the ones you mine in the field.
