I've read some news (in german, sorry):

They say the game gets a day one patch with following content:
* support for USB-keyboards
* voice-chat
* ZR/ZL for camera-adjustments
* support for online on 3DS through an additional app

I don't know how reliable this is though.

Cross-region is announced for April, so thats another patch.

These articles are also talking about the patch and confirm USB-keyboards, voice-chat und camera-angle ... but not 3DS-online. So doubts on this are probably recommendable.
