HELLZ YEAH!!!

Sweeney Todd was a great movie!

After the first 3 or so bloody killings, it's not that shocking anymore.

Mmmm, tasty....

Have you seen Fiddler on the Roof twesterm? Now that's a musical to film done right.

Back on topic - The "Cheap Laughs" argument only works if you find the jokes to actually be funny. If yo do that's cool, but I really don't.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Nooo! dont see juno csir is wrong. juno is the most hyped movie ever and i dont get all the critical attention. it wasnt funny and just plain bad. Kuudos to ellen page though she was good but not good enough for me to like the movie. 2 out of 10. In another note go see the best movie of last year ATONEMENT breathtakingly haunting and beautiful, in other words a masterpiece. also cloverfield i dont think ive ever been so tense in a movie before, a non stop thrill ride. and last but not least no country for old man and sweeny todd.

Go watch No Country for Old Men, Juno, or There Will Be Blood instead.. I can't believe people actually pay to go watch these movies, they're really not that funny..

i saw Juno through live stream from the guys from lewler.com, its a great movie.

You know, I actually had some respect for you until I saw this thread. I mean the fact you saw it is bad enough but actually admitting you like it? That's just bad.

Couldn't be worse than 300 ( first movie I ever walked out on)

you walked out on 300... wtf... 300 was an amazing film.

I thought 300 was pretty good, but not as good as the LotR trilogy =). I haven't seen Meet the Spartans, but I figured it would be a disapointment like Epic Movie.

I hated Cloverfield. the monster was retarded.

You just lost ANY chance of being respected by me after that comment (as if your radical Wii fanboyism wasn't bad enough). 300 FTW!!

Whoops, actually thought that was one was original cast until I looked at the back of the case.  I suppose that one is one of the rare exceptions too.

Good way to tell if you're watching a great parody/satirical movie:

Does it have Mel Brooks anywhere in the title/credits?
Yes, and you're good. No, and it's best to go see something else instead.

Glad to see atleast one other person remembers Mel Brooks, there's are reason his parody movies are highly rated, because they're good, they actually have clever jokes, they might use a theme based on other movies and occasionally parody a scene, but they can stand on their own merit with out seeing other movies,

Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, they're just a series of movie references with bodily functions thrown in as they are the lowest common demoniator of humor

Frankly it's annoying that people like these as they become the only thing people make, while actual spoofs that are well done have fallen to the wayside,

frankly I can't think of a decent spoof movie since Cannibal! the musical

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea Epic Movie was just god awful.
