What? You've never heard of GT's Pop Block? They do this with practically every trailer. IGN's "Rewind Theatre" is pretty much the same, albeit a whole lot more lame and long winded.

"People" of GT do that for most of trailers. ;)

Anyway, point of this particular one was to show flaws in rendering and try to confirm what Ono said - that it's run real-time on PS4.

yea, just download the 1080p direct feed footage (175MB) from here: http://www.gamersyde.com/download_deep_down_trailer-29609_en.html

and a lot of small imperfections become pretty apparant. It's still looking marvelous in my opinion and if that fidelity of graphics is reached next gen then I'm not sure I'll really need even better machines after that.

I'm not sure what I'm excited about more - quality of those animations, or the fact that at least some of Japanese RPG devs have decided to focus more on traditional RPG settings ... I mean...those dungeons...and than dragon...;)

I believe Deep Down = code name for next gen Dragon's Dogma, but they couldn't announce it as such because a Dragon's Dogma expansion is coming for current gen in two months.

The gamer asking for help at the end of the video sounds like something that would fit with Dragon's Dogma's pawn system.

now i am excited xD

Tnx for link - those guys really know their stuff.

But I think that all can be done on current gen, and I don't see any huge leap over what we have today. /end megasarcasm ;)
