With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

I hope you are either joking or at least know the difference between shipped and sold.

Because I am searching for some threads to ressurect, the reason for this is ebcause I want to see what people thought last year at this time.

I dont understand how the 360 only sold 4 million consoles, and the wii managed to sell over 10.

Its called the difference between shipped and sold. It has been pretty well established that MS stuffed the retail channels leading up to Dec 31st in order to meet their 10m goal that they had projected.

The problem is that most of these sat on retail warehouse shelves for a while as the demand cought up with supply. So in other words back on Dec 31st while their may have been 10.4m sold to retail there were only about ~8m sold to consumers based on ioi's data. Then you factor in the sales over the last 11+ months for the 360 which total ~5.4m not 4m and you get where we are now, just shy of 13.4m.

It is not that hard Leo. Didn't you follow sales trends in 2007?
