I mean after this generation I just can't fathom why anyone would trust this company.  I mean let's look at things they did wrong this generation while ignoring all the right things that they did.

1. When sony decided to release the PS3 they hyped it up like the technology was a supercomputer and even demoed Killzone 2 as gameplay.  We later on figured out that it was not gameplay and in fact pre-rendered footage and them trying to pass it off of gameplay.

2.  $599 U.S. Dollars.  Must i say more?  Well of course I should.  Let's look at the games they had for the first half of the generation?  Yeah not many.  Oh well, maybe they will change that with there next console? Oh wait, the Vita?  Darn I guess not.

3.  PSN is FREE!  Oh wait, it lacks in pretty much every category.  What is wrong with the OS.  Why the hell is it taking me two bajillion hours to update my console?  What I can't cross- game chat?  What games can I play online?  not many good ones.

4.  PSN hack.  Holy mother of batman, me and 70 million other people got hacked!?   What the hell, they may or may not have stolen my credit card information. Why are you handling this so badly sony!?  Oh come on, PSN is down for a month?  Ahh not like I was playing multiplayer anyways.

5. Vita cards cost and arms and a leg.  Who needs memory?  No one that is right, Ill just buy games to look at and think about what it would be like to actually save the game.

6. No support for the PSP.  When is a game going to be released for the PSP?  Uhm, Maybe next year if your lucky. Good thing you can hack it.

7. No music while playing games.  We are sony and we forbid music while playing games.  That is just horrific to listen to your own preferred music.

8.  PS Move.  Here have the move controller and listen to all our hype about it.  But wait there is a catch, we are not going to support it and give you sorcery which isnt good years later.

9. YLoD.  We will point and laugh at the RRoD but in the meantime we still have a a high failure rate with our own consoles.  Actually now it is just as high as X360's since 2009. 14%

10.  Backwards compatibility to the PS2 which sold 150m.  Who would want that Sony?  No one mwahahahaha

Now if you actually read this (you should be able to tell i was beng sarcastic in way) yes these are problems sony had and Yes Sony has had problems just like MSFT has but both companies has also done many right things as well so don't ignore that either.  

I want a Nintendo one too plz.

I don't have much choice, Microsoft is rumored to block used games and have their console always online, very anti-consumer.

Sony's business looks very consumer friendly.

I trust them because Sony is God. And if you're against God, then that makes you Satan.

1 - I loved the PS3, played many games online and actually enjoy PSNplus a lot.
2 - I don´t care about price, I work hard and gaming is pretty much the only good thing in my sad little life, so, the Vita cards stuff doesn´t matter to me.
3 - Sony recognized the errors from PS3 and will make them right on Ps4: RAM (cross-game chat is a RAM issue) and hard to understand system archtecture).
I don´t hate NINTENDO or MS, so, I can very well own three consoles if all of them are great, SONY is actually the only onne that I trully trust.

Boooooo... you didn't even included that Sony is degrading the system with every new version.. removing bc.. removing ports, removing linux, replacing the HD with a 12gb one... booooo!

$599 was selling at a significant loss and since they were supporting PS2 so nicely you could wait.

PSN is great and I use it all the time without complaint

No credit cards were stolen and I don't play online very much at all so PSN hack doesn't bother me and that's happened on 360 too. They've also beefed up security since.

It's developers, not just Sony, praising PS4's power this time (3rd party devs) and it's just common sense that a PC with those specs will be awesome.

They won't have proprietary memory on PS4 most likely and even if they did that just draws them even with Xbox's proprietary memory upgrades.

PSP gets plenty of support in Japan where people bought it past 08 cause not all of them think Angry Birds is enough for mobile gaming.

You can listen to music it's called muting the TV and playing your music or using headphones. I do it sometimes playing MP (never with the mic on that's annoying).

There's been just as much support for Move as the other 2 companies for their motion stuff

Their failure rates are now even, but I've never had a Sony system break on me while I've heard stories of 360 owners who've had as many as 12 RRODs. I don't see how you even list this as a complaint

Even though this is sarcastic and Vita cards suck and not having cross game chat is annoying for some, most of these points are completely invalid and the mobile and motion stuff is completely irrelevant to what core home console gamers care about. Don't get the purpose of this thread unless it's just to hate.

Sony have completely lost my trust after the PS3. Don't respect or ever take them seriously ever again.
