I know I do. Twilight Princess was great I loved the dark serious tone. The bosses were great, the characters were also great. I think the next Zelda needs to go in this direction. It will show the full power of the Wii U and be a great return for a dark Zelda.

Others had noted that because of the remake of wink waker and its standout style, Zelda U has to be different. Meaning more realistic or darker, like TP.

I tend to agree with them.

Keep the underlying dark tones of TP, but don't keep the crappy character development and Zelda doing nothing.

Do still try to include some Zelda "charm" into it, but don't go overboard like WW did.

Nintendo could definitely borrow some elements from that game for the next console Zelda. That being said, I don't think it needs to borrow the art direction. I'm happy with whatever graphical style Nintendo EAD chooses, as long as the game stays true to the Zelda formula -- with a few twists and surprises here and there, of course.

Absolutely not. Nintendo already has a wonderful mission for next zelda. Oot format that has been used up till now is stale beyond belief. I am happy Nintendo is doing away with it.

I didn't like Twilight Princess all too much. I don't know if I just outgrown Zelda or if it was just strictly the Wii controls or Wii's terrible graphics (although Zelda was ahead of must titles in graphics department)

Someone please answer, am I correct in seeing there are 2 Zelda titles on the wii? If so... I had no clue they released another one. Is it any good and should I pick it up?

The ideal Zelda would have Link to the Past's difficulty and degree of linearity (where the game shunts you in an obvious direction, but going out of order is fully possible), Skyward Sword's combat, dungeon design, and area design, Majora's Mask's depth of sidequests, and Wind Waker's depth of overworld

Twilight Princess succeeded in scope and in characterization, though many Zeldas have also been successful on those fronts (Skyward Sword lost points on scope due to drastically empty overworld, but had excellent characters).
