Money doesn't help Microsoft. They spent half a billion for Windows 8 Marketing and thatsure didn't create any hype. An old marketing rule says that a popular product doesn't need any marketing at all. An insane amount of marketing on the other hand points to a desperate company with a product that nobody really wants.

Money alone won't determine who will have the upper hand. If it was for money, Microsoft would have won every Generation easily. But they never end up on top. They are also losing against Apple and Google. Good Marketing doesn't need an insane amount of money. Good marketing comes from the consumers themselves, who are talking about some product with their friends. You just can't buy hyped people, no matter how much money you got in the bank.

All I know is nothing.
