Forums - Sony Discussion - Megaton predictions for PS4 at E3/TGS

Hmm, don't know what to make of all this. Sounds incredibly cheap.
A "back to the roots" game like Crash Bandicoot would be nice and halfway expected, same goes for Jak from PS2 era, Naughty Dog have some really popular franchises in their stable.

Wouldn't mind a good E3 though, those are few and far inbetween. If MS has a huge reveal and showing of their new console along with lots of game announcements and showings and Sony has a good show as well, this could be the first exciting E3 for nearly a decade.

Didn't anybody learn the lesson this week? You over hype things and the reality will always fall short. You can and have every right to be excited, but make realistic predictions.

From my memory, every E3 from the past few years is a disappointment to everybody. Its not about who "won" but who "disappointed the least". Then again, we do have 2 new consoles to showcase, so I hope I not

What lesson? PS4 looks amazing and showed amazing games.

Weird Sonys last 2 E3s where really good, shame they didn't get usher to perform :(

I could see Gears coming to Sony, Epic owns the rights, there has been a lot of change at Epic so most likely any executive with loyalites to MS is prob gone. for whatever reason series fatigue or people getting ready for nextbox Gears Judgment is not preordering well and will prob not come close to selling as many copies as Gears 3, MS might not fight as hard in terms of throwing money at Epic to keep it exclusive.

The $350 price point would be a huge win for Sony, I could see that something like 360 did with like a little HD maybe 20GB HD, Than the Deluxe with like two controllers and 500 GB HD for $450.

So, I made this thread:http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=155697&page=1 to show everyone that Nintendo is treating 3rd parties like shit (and not the other way around), and to back up my claims I said Sony will drop some serious megatons during e3 this year. And since not every Sony fan is reading Nintendo threads I thought I'll share some of my inside information with ya'll!

Let me tell you that this years e3 will be awesome. Sony fans will be VERY happy!

The price: $349.99

The meltdowns: An former Xbox exclusive will be shown!

The Megatons: An old franchise from the PS1-era will return to Sony (1st party). A PS2-era series will also return (1st party). I also suspect that we'll see The Last Guardian will be there (but this I have no back up for, it's just a hunch). But the best part is a game that will redeem a whole company (I've heard it's a boss fight they will show)(exclusive). And PS4 is also getting a BIG online service that will kick ass. Part of this service has actually already been announced, but it's not obvious yet...

I hope you enjoy this years e3 Sony fans, because it will be a great one! I'm hyped to see all the awesome reactions already :D

Don't mean to be negative but can't see any of that happening. $349?

The only part that's true is Sony will show games, and most likely the best! Same as last gen.

The whole point with PS4 is apparently to "go back to their roots", so... yeah.

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I'm still having a hard time believing in this, especially the price.
