Yeah I get that, and I get why you're periodically introducing capitals into your reply. It is a big chunk, but even so they were all praising the system for how powerful it was and how easy it was to develop for, even on the "gimped" dev kits. So why the sudden turnaround?

I get what you're saying, and I agree it's ridiculous. But it doesn't explain the sudden change of mood when the devs were all previously so happy with the system.

so you wouldn't get a bit upset if you found out someone had lied or cheated on you?

even more troubling is that I just heard that Nintendo has canceled 2 3rd party games to the Wii U; 1 being exclusive and 1 being a multiplat. And these games are well known, popular titles by a major publisher. The exclusive games will now probably be heading to the PS360.

Really? Nintendo cancelling upcoming 3rd party games for WiiU? That does'nt even make sense.

I know, they're stupid as hell and really shooting themselves in the foot. And it's no small games either.

well how about you name this big exclusive.

can't do that...

Just look at the reactions of 3rd parties, they're all very happy with PS4s 8GB GDDR5 ram, ram was one of the biggest bottlenecks current gen. Nintendo just let them down.

Gamecube was a beast console, in return it got many multiplats.

Gamecube also was the lowest selling (excluding Virtual Boy)  Nintendo home console to date...........

So, I have things to reveal, things I cannot prove but that comes from within the industry. That's why I knew KillZone 4 would be revealed during the PS4 event (even though I didn't say anything) and that's why I'm fairly certain PS4 will cost $349 at launch. I also know what games will be shown at e3 (MEGATON incoming!!! Fan boys of all sorts will cry tears of joy and tears of anger), so just take my word for what I'm writing now - and come e3 you will see what I mean by megaton, which should prove what I'm about to tell you about Nintendo and 3rd parties.

Wanna know the real reason why Nintendo is getting shitty 3rd party support? It's no conspiracy like some think. Nintendo has ever since the GameCube days (and perhaps even before that) given 3rd parties GIMPED dev kits. We all know Wii U has 2gb RAM, and 1gb of those are reserved for the OS - leaving 1gb for games. But only Nintendo has access to that FULL 1gb RAM; 3rd parties got gimped dev kits with about 730mb RAM to work with, with the explanation that the rest of the RAM were off limits.

What happened was early on a very large publisher got their hands on source code to a 1st party title accidentally (was meant to be sent a code segment on disk for assistance with a gpu addressing issue, but ended up with whole game source), and in the source for that, it became obvious that 3rd party dev kits lacked vital and very helpful api's for graphics rendering.

This thing also happened with the Wii. 3rd party developers wanted more access to the hardware to make games, but weren't allowed by Nintendo, and that's why Wii never saw much support except for shovelware.

And what's even more troubling is that I just heard that Nintendo has canceled 2 3rd party games to the Wii U; 1 being exclusive and 1 being a multiplat. And these games are well known, popular titles by a major publisher. The exclusive games will now probably be heading to the PS360.

But seriously, you all need to know this - especially the Nintendo fans. 3rd parties are skipping Nintendo's consoles because they are being treated as shit. Nintendo only has themselves to blame for this fuck up.

Quit your bullshit or show us some proof

As I recall at E3 2011 (or even 2012?), Nintendo said that they designed the console with 3rd parties in mind, and as such there was nothing but praise for the system. Who knows what happened to cause such a change.

Nintendo gave 3rd party developers gimped dev kits?!

Has anyone really read what I'm saying???

No, I read what you said and good points are raised in it. However, why did Nintendo do this, and moreover, why did the devs say that the kits were so great initially if they weren't?

They didn't know that 270mb were reserved ONLY for use by Nintendo. That's 24% of the RAM they COULDN'T use, but that Nintendo COULD. They initially thought that they ALL had 732mb to use, but that wasn't the case; they could actually use 1gb - but weren't allowed.

Firstly I was being sarcastic when I said PS4, however I wanted to quote this post.

My guess is (going out there in conspiracy theory zone haha) is that they didn't liek the direction Nintendo took the industry with motion controls, so what better way to get back at them then to provide false prasies to gimped hardware so Nintendo would think they have done enough to please them. Then the time come to run from it like a smelly turd back to SONY/Microsoft.

Well come e3 and you see what kind of MEGATONS I talked about I should be believed.

Yes, that's another one of your points that doesn't make sense. There's not really anything that could be taken away from Nintendo that would qualify as a megaton.

I know it's Friday, but you could have at least waited until it's evening before you got wasted.

Just Dance 5 is PS4 exclusive.

Yes, but I wouldn't completely scrap the game I'd been making and spending a lot of time and money on, and completely reverse my stance on the system, just because I couldn't use something someone else could, but I now can.

Seems like a pretty deep conspiracy

come e3 and Sony presentation you will get the megatons I've mentioned in the OP; megatons that will be bigger than bayo2 being Wii U exclusive and you'll have your proof
