Why? They didn't show anything. Knack and Witness were the only interesting games, the rest was CGI and concept stuff and a lot of promises ready to be broken. Can't wait for deep down to enter development hell.

I know this comment is two days old and already adressed but I can't read it and not post this:

Yeah I'm getting it day one for sure. I'm a video gamer.

I don't doubt that Killzone was gameplay, I just dismissed it because it looks bland and boring. Sliding from cover to cover, clunky analog stick aiming, throwing grenades, scripted melee kills, on-rails QTE intermissions. Press circle to next-gen.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

yeah fu#k you for being so dedicated.

already paid it off and 4 release day games .

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Need more firm announcements of JRPGs before Ill say yes/no.

Tho the interaction with the Vita in and of itself is almost enough for me.

Depends on the price. I still haven't decided between the 720 and PS4 but if the PS4 is only just a little bit more powerful and the 720 is cheaper, then I'll have to go for the 720. Also, if I do decide to buy a PS4 but the price is too much, I will probably buy it 1-2 years after launch.

Every Launch Window Sony Product I have ever owned has failed on me.

So I am waiting . Wii U comes first, PS4 Slim comes second.

What is with all the hate? Don't read GamrReview Articles. Contact me to ADD games to the Database
Vote for the March Most Wanted / February Results

if those final fantasy rumors are true.. then I'll get one on the first day :)

Depends on the price.

Seeing as how the launch line up, of which I am only vaguely even aware of in terms of personal enthusiasm and excitement, really didn't blow me away. There are a few potentially strong titles, but nothing that really struck me as being a Day 1, pay full retail price, must play type of game, for which my standards have been raised considerably over the last couple years. There are better games this year for the PS3 IMHO.

My days of buying any old crap within a hardware launch window just because I want to play something on my shiny brand new console are long since dead and gone.

At $399 (assuming SCE doesn't release a stripped model at this price), I'll probably buy one, even if I don't buy any PS4 games with it at the same time.

At $349 or less, a price of which I am in no way shape or form expecting, I'd probably knock over Grandma in line at retail to pick mine up on release day.

Or... maybe I'd just do the sensible, intelligent thing and just pre-order one as soon as the price is announced and retailers start offering up pre-sales.

If we're doing "this or that" comparisons, I'm not buying a Wii U until the soft library has games that I'd pay $60 for and actually play for more than a session or two. And I'm not buying an Xbox 3 right away unless MS has something truly revolutionary in store for us that would actually get me to renew my XBL Gold subscription. More services and buyable content will not cut it. Even if it's $50 less or whatever, seeing as how a year of XBL Gold would set me back about $60, I'm actually factoring the cost of XBL Gold into any potential purchase of an Xbox 3.

It's between PS4 and Wii-U. Haven't made up my mind yet.

If this was the feel good event than I am worried for the part when the stipulations come into play. I haven't seen anything that makes me want to buy the device faster than I bought my PS3, which was 5 years after launch. On the contrary, now I'm worried that the Vita will be useless junk without a PS4.

Killzone wasn't CGI, inFAMOUS: Second Son wasn't CGI, and WATCH_DOGS wasn't CGI (though in that case, it was PC footage). I get that they may not have shown enough to warrant a purchase, but most of what was there was theirs and in real time.

Edit: Never mind, I can see he was corrected long ago. :P

I find it amusing when some users call that footage CGI. I wonder if some of them are also the ones that at the same try to downplay the generation leap PS4 brought forth.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
