i really don't hate the wiiu , i think zelda and mario are some of the greatest franshise in gaming and some of the best games i ever played, i just hate when people say it's more powerful then 360/ps3 when MP games havent provin that, once i see 5 Mp games looking better and released at the same time, i will admit wii u is more powerful but if that doesn't happen will you guys admit you were wrong. you guys can blame the devs but can't blame the hardware.

This reminds me of when a white guy says the n-word or uses a racist slur, then claims he's not the least bit racist and said it because he has black friends.
|
what a stupid comparison, the only thing i said bad about wiiu is it will fail in sales and it's graphics are on par with current gen, i gave my reasons why i think it will fail in sales and guess what it's happening so far, i even predicted 59,000 in the npd thread first page.

I'd show you quotes from developers and industry insiders saying the Wii U is definitely more capable of what the PS3 and 360 can do, but I'm sure it's been done many times already.
|
and i can show 2-3 quotes where they say on par.
|
And I can point out how your quotes come from anonymous sources (in other words, unreliable) while mine come from people not afraid to put their names out there.
|
no its from developes, dark siders 2, tecmo and metro last light.

The developers of Darksiders 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3 said the Wii U version of their port won't look better than the PS360 versions; I don't recall ever reading them say it's because the system isn't capable of doing more than the other HD consoles.

By "sloppy" I was referring to the fact that it doesn't seem to leaverage the Wii U's graphical muscle compared to Need for Speed.

One thing we shouldn't forget is that most launch games were probably developed on work-in-progress dev kits, in a really short time and without much man power. Usually there's that one game that really shows the new console is more powerful than current hardware (Mario 64, Rogue Squadron, Soul Calibur, Kameo, etc.) just this time Nintendo decided to go with a non-effort 2D Mario game (which could've looked so much better, really).

Yeah, there hasn't been a single Wii U game so far that's been built from the ground up by a technically proficient team to be graphically intensive.
Once there is, we'll have a better idea of what the system can do.

That
And regarding the comments from the developer of Metro: Last Light:
"Our look at the Wii U extended to a very early look at some very early kits. We… we did some work on it, but we made a decision fairly early on that we weren’t going to commit further resource to it," Benyon said. "So yeah, we didn’t go too far."
Benyon also addressed the rumor that Metro: Last Light was scuttled for Wii U due to the system's "horrible, slow CPU." He said this was not the case.
"Take any of the comments you’ve seen attributed with a pinch of salt," Benyon said. "It’s certainly not been based on any kind of analysis of final hardware."

Given THQ's financial situation at the time and it's recent closing, I'd say it's safe to assume it may not have had the finances to put out a Wii U version. That sounds more reasonable than the other excuse.
