and i've never known a ninty fan(or any platforms fan) to get banned for trolling their preferred console.

That's probably because it's the truth!
the Nintendo doom is constant topic for 20 years, the first i remember was in book Game Over from D.Sheff , so Nintendo and their doom is extremely boring subject.
Nice post and pretty much all true. It really is interesting to see a lot of people who mocked "it's too early to judge" have now turned 180 degrees, though.
The knee-jerk anger over any kind of criticism is also truth. There was an article posted a few days ago that ended on a positive note, where the writer was basically saying that Nintendo could turn it around, but it was obvious that few people had read more than the title of the post. The collective outrage was interesting to see.
I will add that I see a lot less of that from Vita supporters now. It's like many of us have turned a corner and are willing to be rational and honest about the problems it's having. We're over the denial phase, I think, even if we're still hopeful and positive about the future. Perhaps our Wii U brothers will join us in enlightenment soon?
