Move is integrated, a speaker is integrated

So intergrated Kinect bad but wen a controller looks to have move on it its all good? Somewhat biased.

I'm quoting you but I'm not targetting you. Just the ony fans who hated on the 720 thread over kinect yet act as if this is the second coming of Jesus, or whoever you're into.

But to be fair
Move has perfectly working games(KZ3 for example)...Kinect doesn't.Move was never going to be a revolution or something like that and it was never meant to replace anything while Kinect is the FUTURE WITH FLUENT GAMEPLAY of games that play like quality games like Uncharted,Gears,Halo etc or at least they promised that and not stuff like Fable Railgame.
People have to be pretty delusional if they still think Kinect will offer something like they promised many years ago.Kinect 2 will be the same.
BUT what it does is forcing developers into creating stuff for that useless technology and wasting time instead of working on potential really good exclusives.
Rare is at the moment wasting time with Kinect while they could do another Kameo,Killer Instinct or so that are completely aimed at the hardcore audience and offer at least something more than Halo and Gears.
And an integrated Move will just be an addon like it is now while Kinect will be a core element for the NextBox.This sounds disgusting just when you think about it.Everyone will have it and Microsoft will force people to use it in their games.

@PS4 Pad
Looks meh - But it is a Prototype and i hope they don't change that much with the final design compared to the older systems.
Tweak a little bit the R2/L2 Buttons and we are fine.Shooters will still be a dominant genre NextGen so they should change it.Wasn't the case before this Gen.

haha seriously that N64 controller looks nothing like the PSone controller.  Wheres there are 6 buttons on its right while the PS only has 4, the triggers are different, there's 1 less handle, there's another joystick (which Atari used on its console if you're giving Nintendo credit for that), and where's the select button on the N64?  Oooooo it had rumble so it obviously copied them completely.  Also I don't see how the PS3 controller copied Gamecube when it had the same design as the previous 2 PS consoles.

That pic forgets to mention how Nintendo got the grips and dual sticks from the PS controllers, or the 360 design for the WiiU controller, but ofcourse that doesn't fit your agenda.

Wavebird was the inventor of wireless controllers? Who are you kidding? I had a 3rd party wireless controller for my ps1, they exist since the Atari 2600.

Nintendo was the first to have a joystick? facepalm/

Here's the real evolution:

I'm sure it will be fine but Sony really needs to embrace the better design Microsoft has been using for a while now. The left thumb stick really needs to be positioned up more, science has already shown it makes the controller better.

What science is that and why does it only work for the left stick?

I'd also want to know what science is that too? Ergonomically speaking, the symetrical nature of thands would dictate that the analog sticks should be at the same position since the hands/fingers/thumbs are mirror images of each other. In fact, having the left analog stick higher would make for a more uncomfortable grip position for hte left hand. This is the reason why the xbox controller is shaped the way that it is, so that you can position the left hand slightly higher than the right hand, other wise you'd be over extending your left thumb which would be uncomfortable.

Also, the xbox controller is designed with the average american in mind who have larger hands as oppose to the average japanese who have smaller hands as you'll notice, the DS3 is smaller than the X360 controller which proves my point.

As for the claim that its the better design, Sony has had over a decade to revise their controller shape but hasn't, this is because their engineers have ergonomically tested this shape and has been found to be the best design. Your claim that the xbox360 controller is better is purely opinion and not fact and is mostly base on your own personal preference.

the image is way older than wiiu, also don't dare to put someones agenda to anything when you don't know him - even if it is kind of an insult. i am not to kid anyone but wanted to make a funny post on how the shape of ds evolved the last years and how things got adopted by sony. obviously you are not on the funny side of the force.
