I don't know what is your opinion about ancient or medieval food customs, but i can assure you that they skinned the animal before they roasted it. But no, they killed the animal, beheaded it and used it as a serving platter for something that "resembled" the goat intestines..may as well been sushi for all i know. They didn't even eat the animal to justify the killing. Killing animals for food is natural, killing them to sell shock value is barbaric. You're as bad and cruel as kids who torture little animals if you condone these acts. NO WAY it's the same as eating a burger. Eating meat provides nourishment, not stupid,pointless violence just that you can get a hard-on. Go rob a blood bank if you are that desperate for the red stuff.

That's exactly what I thought but I couldn't find the english words to say it... -_-' Anyways, eating meat isn't the real bad part, it's using the death of an animal to sell a game that's discusting.

... they didnt use it to sell the game.. they made the party themed around greece... geez... deal with it.. 

Oh and what if Sony did a party themed about canibals and killed you... It would still be fine because it's just a themed party...

Honestly? Does anyone care that a goat died in this party? Am I the only one that doesn't give a fuck that it was done about a videogame? I mean honestly, the party seemed pretty hedonistic to me. But it did seem like it was alot of fun. It was a bad pr move, but it wasn't really that bad. Hunters kill animals cruely for entertainment, fishermen kill fish for entertainment. Should that be banned? It seems like sony is getting blame here for petty reasons. But that is just what I have seen. It was true that sony was justified and didn't break the law for doing this. And it seems adequate seeing how it was an adult party. I have seen alot worse at some bars, and strip clubs. But I wouldn't know what a minor will feel on this board if they saw a dead goat.

anyways, nope not at all, its just that it doesnt matter. Humans have been doing it for thousands of years. How is it wrong to do something that we do everyday... really my friend just killed a deer to eat.. is he wrong to do that? no. He showed me where the bullet went threw it's head. Use yor head... this is bad at all.. whats goiing on in Iraq is worse then this.. 

If the game was idk.. magical bunny rabbits that make flowers grow and Soy themed the party around that and had a bunch of caged up bunnies everywhere eating flowers.. would that be wrong? if one of them dies for some reason at the party is it wrong? Maybe to PETA.. which is a group that deservers to die... but thats different.. they do more bad then good.

ssj12, I think you need to re-read the post VonShigsy made. Look I'm not complaining about people eating animals, what I'm complaining about is the how it was used. Killing an animal to sell more games is wrong.

 Sony's marketing has always been edgy with this in mind I do not take offense to their material. I see nothing wrong with their this is living stuff.... its odd but ok. The racist commersial is only from people applying their own predjudices to the advert.  And If they ate food from the goat I am ok with it. If they killed it just for the sake of killing it, that would be to edgy for my tastes.

But I wrote this before in another post. This is overblown just for the sake of smearing Sony as a bad guy. If you pay attention to what is being spread on the internet it is clearly biased and over blown. Sony can do wrong but their adverts border on bad taste or stupidity moreso than being malicious.
