This is the official thread for Playstation 4 info.

The rumors point for the unveil to happen in the Playstation meeting in 20.02.2013.
Only info we have now is ALL based in rumors but i can give a try and show a brief summary of what to expect.
SPECS
CPU - 8 cores AMD design Central Processing Unit @ 1.6Ghz use low-power, have a high-performance architecture, code name Jaguar.
GPU - Based on Radeon HD 7xxx graphics cards, rumors say is about 5 times more powerful than RSX (PS3 GPU) but it also contains lots of improvements in high def. image display technologies (said to to have all the tech and protocols to be DX 11 capable).
RAM - 4Gb of GDDR5 with more than 160Gb/s bandwidth. 3Gb to 3.5Gb for games and 0.5Gb to 1.0Gb for OS
Bluray player - again rumors say a 6x BD player (3 times faster than PS3 BD player) with top data transfer speed of 27Mb/s
Usual Ethernet, Wifi and Bluetooth connections

Peripherals
Expected the same Dualshock design but with new functionalities; rumored a touch pad and a new "SHARE" button for a social integration. (share screen capture or short videos)
A two sensor camera with a array of mics is also rumored to be a part of the user interface.
Playstation Move will also be supported and maybe improved in the new home console.

Special Feats.
Expected to be a integration with Playstation Vita; Multimedia Remote Play, Vita as a controller and game Remote Play are expected abilities for this new home console.

Rumored Price - 400 to 500 USD no more info yet...

ok so here is my scoop on the developers and games for PS4

-naughty dog (uncharted team) released UC3 in 2011, so by 2014 they would have had enough time to release a new game on with a 3 year development cycle

- media molecule, LBP2 released in Q1 2011 and they are making two games now, tear away and another one is a "mystery" they teased that on their website

-sucker punch infamous2 mid 2011, so a mid 2014 release window for a new IP or infamous3 is likely as well (3 year development cycle)

- santa monica, they are making GoW: A but the thing is the director of GoW3 stig asmussen asmussen isnt working on GoW: A. when SSM was asked about stig they replied that stig was working on some awesome stuff. that means he didnt leave and a high profile developer like him wouldnt go on and just help out with games like starhawk or PS all starts. its very likely that they have another team and most probably working on a PS4 game.

- Guerrilla Games - reportedly a two team studio as well now, making killzone 4 and a new IP. killzone3 released in Q1 2011 so thats about two and half years to release a game and more time to release the other if they were releasing a game as a launch tittle

- Ready At Dawn, they made the Two GoW games on the PSP and are now making a "next gen" game. it was said before that its an action adventure tittle, GoW ghost of sparta released in 2010, so they would have had more than enough time to make their game by launch date

- polyphony digital. Gran Turismo 5 released in 2010, they didnt release anything since. so by the release of the PS4 late this year they would have had 3 years to be already working on the game. the release of GT6 is very likely to happen in the first two years of the console, unless they are fully focused on a vita version.

- Quantic Dream, There last game released early 2010 since then they been working on Beyond: Two souls which will release either Q3 or Q4 this year, this pretty much killed the possibility of PS4 game anytime soon, but a couple of weeks ago it leaked that they registered the domain for SingularityPS4.com which suggests that they are now two teams at QD, like many other sony developers. this is all up in the air though, it could be that david cage already knows what he is gonna do next and just registed the domain now. 

- Evolution Studio's - previously worked on the motorstorm games, they teased on twitter saying "10 days" 10 days before the sony meeting on the 20th of feb, suggesting that they will reveal their game in the confrence

Aren't sony santamonica and MM working on new games as well? And maby london studios?

Edit: oh and i forgot Evolution Studios they're expected to show something on the 20th as well.

Really interested in seeing how Feb. 20th goes.
