Glad to see WiiU slightly better (if I remember the numbers of last week correctly), let's hope it won't drop again.

its up 10% this week in usa. no software releases though. word of mouth maybe? advertising push?

It'll be interesting to see if Rayman Legends and Lego City Undercover will be able to push sales^^

Apparently Rayman legends has been delayed to September and is now Multiplatform...

really? do you have a source for that? not that i dont trust you or anything but i would just like to read the article :)

Do you even hotpage?

I think Wii U is undertracked in Eruope. There is no way a brand new console only sold less than 10K across the entire Europe.

If anything, it's overtracked from the numbers we know.  At the end of 2012, VGC had their Europe numbers 27,259 higher than the sell through numbers Nintendo released for Europe.  We also know it is overtracked in the UK by ~17.5k, though it is undertracked ~10k in France for the end of 2012.

It also hasn't been making any impact on the software charts from various European countries for 2013.

-3DS numbers great as usual
-Ps3 looking good against 360 global
-360 dominates Ps3 in US (but why lol)
-hopefully Vita will continue to very slowly grow into a respectful weekly sale rate lol, eventually
-Yikes @ Wii U D:

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Well, I think it's kind of a forgone conclusion at this point who's going to win the 3DS 30m vs. Vita 5m competition now. Taken a good bit longer than most have assumed though, I think. All the same, the 3DS is still rocking though and no reason it won't be able to keep it up. If it keeps up around the current numbers (160,000 and 27,000 respectively), then around 10 weeks for the 3DS to 30m and 34 weeks for the Vita to 5m.

Well the 3ds should have a nice boost in Japan as DQ7 just released and that HW boost will be in the numbers we get next week.

Ni No Kuni has the best FW sales for a new console JRPG IP this gen. It's great news after the disappointing Japan launch.

plus the demand for it was severly unexpected and most suppliers ran out of stock

Oh, right, I completely forgot about DQ7. I'm sure that'll be a bit of a boost toward the total. Thanks for the reminder! So probably a little quicker than nine weeks once next week's numbers come in.

PS2 still selling 2k software units in the slowest month in UK.

That's nothing less than unbelievable... only PS2 do that things.

I want to know Ni No Kuni sales for EU.

I know it was #1 in UK.

it sold 25K in the UK. so im hoping for good numbers around EU, hopefully more than 80K

That's awesome. I am sure these don't even include Wizard's Edition sales either.

i dont know, its what vgchartz show. usually limted editions are included with these numbers for what i know

US version was sold only through Namco directly though. I doubt VGC has those numbers.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!
