Halo 3 coming to PC? Steam Database shows Fez, Dyad, Halo 3 and plenty of entries

Forums - Gaming Discussion - Halo 3 coming to PC? Steam Database shows Fez, Dyad, Halo 3 and plenty of entries

There’s a tool to check what games are registered on Steam. Well, it’s mostly reliable and has leaked many games coming to the service.

Furthermore, it looks like there are plenty of new games that could be heading to Steam. People normally use this tool to peek into the Steam database.

Some of them are games we already know like La-Mulana and Resident Evil: Revelations, however, Halo 3 has also been discovered in the database which could mean, Microsoft will start releasing older Xbox 360 games published by Microsoft Game Studios on PC, or Valve is adding support for Steam Community hubs for non-Steam games.

Here’s the listing for Halo 3 (via GAF). You can find the complete list of all the games that have been found so far below, and plenty of them are already confirmed to be heading to Steam. Games like Fez are obvious because if you’re going to release it on the PS3, it should also be released on the PC.

  • La-Mulana
  • The Splatters
  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch Beta
  • Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition (Duke Nukem 3D+)
  • Super House of Dead Ninjas
  • Fez
  • LucasArts Test App
  • Fast and Furious 6
  • Lococycle
  • Yogventures!
  • Hardware
  • Hardware (Demo)
  • Dyad
  • Cut the Rope
  • Shadow Warrior Complete
  • Hardware (VIP)
  • Hardware (Internal)
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII
  • Retro/Grade
  • Resident Evil: Revelations
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98 ULTIMATE MATCH
  • Quantum Conundrum 2
  • Halo 3
  • Halo 2
  • Halo: Combat Evolved
  • The Witness
  • Angry Birds Space
  • Angry Birds Seasons
  • Second Life

Has something gone wrong or Halo 3 is indeed coming to the PC? Well, we know for a fact that earlier Microsoft was planning to monetize Steam, so time will tell, but for now there’s hope considering this Steam database tool has been mostly accurate.

i hope so, won't be that great anymore graphically especially for pc but playing halo 3 once more with some better resolution, particles and anti-aliasing would be nice.

I wouldnt doubt it since microsoft releases games on PC when they stop selling well. Maximizes profits. id rebuy it on PC as well so i hope so.

Would be cool to see a Halo trilogy! I'd probably buy it during a sale

Then we only need to wait another 10 years for the next trilogy on PC

My god, Second life, now every weirdo is going to join Steam, and that gif is awesome.

Didn't they just turn off the servers for Halo 2. Kind of odd to release it on steam afterwords. Anyway if they do release the trilogy on steam, I would happily buy it. Halo 3 is still my favorite halo multiplayer and I would happily play it on steam. Would be great if they increase the max playercount for bigteam games.

They'd make it Windows 8 exclusive if it even does come out.

Maybe, but a lot of people register IP's for games they haven't started, I'm not sure if Steam is the same way.

I actually wish Microsoft would release an Xbox emulator, and xbox 360 emulator, when the Xbox 720 comes out.

And Sell all their old games on Live. I know that's not going to happen. But I still want Ninja Gaiden Black! in 1080P with rumble (sigma lacks this).

Oh my God
