Yeah US is a lock for MS next gen

Sorry if that irritates you... But yeah, it's a given.

People said the same thing about PS3. look what happened.

Nothing is locked-in. You're just flaming.

I am?  Im not allowed an opinion?

So you didnt say that to anyone that said Sony would win a particular region?  weird.

You state your opinion as if it is a fact. That is flaming.

only if you are very very very sensitive.

There you go again. Provoking people.

Answering the bold:

No, I never said to anyone that PS4 will win any particular region. Weird. I know.

You are so hyper and upset that you arent even reading what I said proerly.

What i said was....  that you havent taken anyone to task who says that the PS4 has a region on lockdown but you take me to task for saying the xbox will have one region on lockdown. Why is that?  You sailed past far more partisan posts than mine and then picked mine to comment on.

Here.  The Playstation has Japan on lockdown.  Feel better?

Now calm down and be more balanced.

I'm not really here!

This is how i see it.

Next Gen

North America: Sony 45% Microsoft 55%

Europe: Sony 75% Microsoft 25%

Japan: Sony 99.9% Microsoft 00.1%

WorldWide: Sony 85% Microsoft 15%

Sony domination, AGAIN!!

Buy glasses for your eyes and brain for your head before you say something (Sony domination again who said Sony wining this generation ?

America isnt on "lock-down". If anything that is the easiest market to influence.

Sony can afford to lead in all 3 markets. They aren't bankrupt. What it will come down to is HOW they launch the PS4. Rumors point to them focusing on launching in America and Japan first. Having a region-by-region controlled launch gives them a much higher chance of gaining marketshare early on in each one.

This would explain why Wii U failed to make an impact in Europe. Nintendo completely ignored it in favor of other regions.

Wait I did not understand your post... The best strategy for Sony is to ignore the European market? Nintendo did wrong by launching during the same period in all regions?

No, not to ignore Europe but to wiat until you are ready for it. Nintendo obviously has no idea what they're doing with the Wii U in EU.

Hyper? LOL....what's so "Hyper" about my comment?

I have called out other people who said Sony has Europe. Just not in this thread.

The reason I picked your comment is because you're the one who just states your opinion as fact and leaves no room for argument.

Now maybe you're the one who should calm down before you get banned again.

How is that flaming?  Flaming is essentially insulting somebody or an extremely negative post about something.  His post is neither...

Also, he is just answering the OP, why attack him?

Please go re-read these comment. He is the one attacking me.
Kowenckis post WAS extremely negative.  He says MS wins America next gen. Fact. Come at me.(Paraphrasing of course)

He didn't explain why he thinks this and left no room for an argument. I call that flaming.

well, I didn't respond to the rest of the conversation, I responded to your initial response where you attacked him first.

His initial post wasn't negative.  He may have stated his opionion as a fact, but come on.  You know an opinion when you see one.  You seem to just want to read into it more than was there.

No I think my reaction was justified.

Nintendo winning a region = doomed

keep in mind the region MS is "winning" is North America, the largest market by far; the region Sony is "winning" is Europe, the second-largest market; and the region Nintendo is "winning" is Japan, the smallest by far of the three primary markets. So there is some rhyme and reason to it.

Sony is considered vulnerable more because of the state of the overall company, while Microsoft is still faring well in the PC business. Plus the Vita... yeah.

Doesn't explain why Nintendo, with the 3DS, is still doomed -- but then Nintendo is always doomed.

No region is locked down for any of the big three. Yes, MS has a stronger hold on NA and PS3 has a hold on Europe and partially Japan, but there is no reason to think that they couldn't easily lose those strongholds. CASE CLOSED.
