PS+: I think Sony gave 1 free month after the hacking incident; tried it out then.

Picked up two 3 month plus cards during boxing week sale. It has been pretty good so far. Never subscribed to xbox live. I don't have 360 but i did have original xbox as my main console.

5 Year Gold.

Was one year PS plus.

xbl since ~2003, not really sure but since the first xbox. my account i use atm is from first day of 360 release which was end of 2005 but i changed my username twice which is the reason why halo waypoint shows only 150 hours or so of my halo 3 playtime

i'm not a ps+ member, playstation online was always a pain in my ass with my slow internet and even connecting my playstation for those some hundred mb game updates is something i try to avoid^^ those 5mb updates for 360 games is something i can live with but yeah, my bad internet is too bad for playstation lol.

I started plus with 3 months and then bought a 1 year sub and it'll run out in september so if you want to you can do the math for how long i've beenwith plus...

Don't have an xbox and if i did i couldn't be bothered with gold or live since i'm more of a singleplayer kind of guy and i sure as hell wouldn't pay for online (i'm with plus for the games).

I think I subscribed to PSN+ a month after release. August - September 2010?
At the beginning it was a bit lame but then it got better and now I don't even think about quitting. Don't have an Xbox so no XBLA.

2 years and some change with PS+(became a member the day they released cloud storage and automatic updates)

I think I'm at 8 years XBL and getting close to 9.

PS+ never bought into it. Seemed kind of a waste of money for anyone that only has a few hours a week for gaming, but I can see how it would be great for the younger gamers out there or those that still have 4 hours a day to game.

Im on PSN+ over 2 years and even if i dont have time to play the games (im 33) or never actually finish one..i download all of them.

I have been a gold member for my 360 for 5 years in a row. I am not renewing my subscription. Let me explain.....

I have been a huge 360 fan. I own, or have purchased and traded in, somewhere around 150 Xbox 360 games. I've owned about 25 Nintendo Wii games. And, last but not least, I've owned about 20 PS3 games. I loved my 360, and loyally defended my Gold subscription. Of course, I waited until it went on sale on Amazon for $35. So, I payed less then $3 a month for the best online service. This has changed.

I've been hearing a lot about the Playstation Plus. Like a lot of people, I was waiting for a watered down version of the 360's. So, of course, I still gladly payed my $3 a month for my Gold subscription.

Then I heard about Darksiders was available for Free!!! for PS+ members. I had been waiting until this game went on sale for my 360 at a great price, but it hadn't. But free is free, right? Whatever, I still wouldn't jump ship. Sony has lost their touch (again). Then, I ordered the Journey collectors edition(it was getting awesome reviews, and it was only available on the PS3). I happened to notice that it came with a months subscription to PS+. I still didn't care. Didn't you hear me? I own about 150 360 games. Microsoft is awesome!! Right!???

So, I got a little bored of my games. This happens for me once in a while. So, I again read about the free Darksiders game. I was like, "Oh yeah, I have a free 1 month membership to PS+." Whatever Sony!! So, I reluctantly entered in my free 1 month subscription.

I knew it was going to be lame. It had to be. It was free.

Side Note: To this day, I love my 360 controller. It is wonderful. I think the PS3 controller is way too small(I have large hands). Microsoft did tons of research on their controller, and it payed off. I love it!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I really do not like the PS3 controller. It's ok, at best. Period. Do you get me?!!

So, I ordered my free subscription of PS+ to play Darksiders for free. Then, I discovered PS+...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I currently have 8 FREE games, and I bought 6 great games for $22!!!!!!!! 14 games for $22?????!!!!! Are you serious?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And there are free, great, PS Vita games!!! I'm seriously thinking about buying a PS Vita. I can't believe I am even writing this. I was blown away.........Amazed. Honestly.

So, I was looking into the PS+ membership(can you believe it?!). And, right now, Sony is offering 3 free months of PS+ with the purchase of 12 months........................................... SOLD!!!!

So, I'm a guy that owns 150 360 titles that is tired of being ripped off by Micro$oft. AND!!!!!, now I have ads on my Gold subscription. By the way. I have about 31,000 achievements. I get a whopping 2% off of my purchases. Again,F U Micro$oft!!!

So, I absolutely applaud Sony for the PS+ program. AND, I am grateful for Microsoft for pushing Sony to create this AMAZING subscription service. If you don't think Micro$oft didn't, you're wrong.
Anyways, thank you Sony. You have a loyal fan, again.
