Haven’t tried the demo, I’ll be waiting until the game comes out. The ability to control the Divine Beasts is unexpected, looks cool.

Yeah same here, I'd rather experience it on launch day, it just feels more exciting that way, plus then I'm not limited to playing only what the demo offers then having to wait.

Just 3 weeks left now, I think I can (maybe) hold on til then.

Yeah exactly, I’d rather wait three weeks now, before playing anything, than wait three weeks after playing the demo because that’ll only have me wanting to play sooner than that. Waiting ‘now’ doesn’t really matter.

Tried the demo for about 30 minutes today. Not really feeling it so far. Enemies feel like they are made of paper. For the most part I can just mash the attack button and wreck everything. Bigger enemies just require a couple well timed blocks or dodges and then wrecking them when they are open. Does the game get harder later on? I'll finish the demo tomorrow.

BotW's combat was great because of the challenge of the Lynels/Guardians, the crazy physics system, and breakable weapons forcing you to, think strategically to, conserve resources. Then if you add in the hard mode from the DLC it gets even more challenging.

That's just what Warriors games are like, it's supposed to make the player feel like a god-like force wrecking hundreds of enemies. Is there a difficulty setting? The first Hyrule Warriors had one if I recall correctly.

Welcome in a Warriors game !

Even still, there at least more organized and have more aggressive behavior than they did in OG Hyrule Warriors, lol.

BTW, do you link weak and strong attacks together ? Cuz yeah, if you're gonna simply mash Y this would honestly become visually stale fast.

Here's what you can do with Link for example. (Every character have specifities in their moveset to make them unique)

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure how to do the shield surf for the longest time. The Y, X, popup attack was easy to figure out, since almost every hack n' slash has it. The weird thing is there's additional follow up moves you can do after a shield surf. Same goes for the Y, Y, Y, X combo. But I can't figure out how to do them consistently. One of the follow up moves is a standing ground smash similar to the final move in Link's air combo.

I finished the demo BTW, checking out all the extra battles and everything. So far it feels like a fun game. My only remaining complaint is that the graphics aren't quite as good as BotW, even though it's using the same engine. Enemies look kinda fuzzy, like they are using lower resolution textures. The framerate feels a tad under 30 FPS a lot of times. And finally I feel like there's too much bloom in certain assets like on the King's beard.

I got bored after 10 minutes playing Age of Calamity, definitely not my style. Hope the SKyward Sword remake doesn't take too long to be released, although I'm not really feeling the idea of paying 60 USD for a port of the weakest mainline Zelda I've played

well would it be a port or remake in this scenario? Because you state it's both.

The truth is we don't know, it can be either. I hope it's a remake, or at least a remaster like Wind Waker hopefully with some additional content

That's a nice effect.
