Things are a bit rough at the moment, for sure.....but new games are releasing next week, big titles in Japan by the end of the month and we will likely know when Pikmin is releasing by then too.

Even though the numbers aren't great, a 40% increase in sales over January is mildly impressive considering literally nothing was released. It's just a matter of games, not of people not wanting it or anything like that. 3DS had the same growing pains, but look at it now.

I hope not! I'm mostly Sony but I do like Nintendo's games. I need me some Zelda and Smash in HD! I'll do my part and support the system when there is better software available, and I'll try to encourage people, but the majority of my friends are so turned off by the Wii U because of the Wii. Nintendo will have to bring their "A game" and show core gamers they mean business. Bayonetta 2 is a start, and the pro controller is nice too. Either way, they have a mountain of money to do what they can to prop the system up - I just hope they can if it comes to that.

I think "doomed" implies that sales will never get better. I think it's obvious that sales WILL get better, even if only slightly. The question is how much better will they get when the games actually start coming.
