Honestly most of the games I would want to see for 720 and PS4 I would prefer to come out at least a year or so into their respective console's life cycle so the developers have more time to get used to the new hardware and can get more out of it. Most launch games over the past couple of generations have been pretty "meh" and don't hold up well compared to games released later that gen. Halo 1 on the Xbox and SSB Melee and Rogue Squadron 2 on the GC are the few exceptions. Go back and look at some of the games that the PS2 and the 360 launched with... they look terrible compared to games available at the end of their respective gens.

they need to release at least one game that is popular which helps to sell the system

I think we're going to see alot of "crossover" launch games for the 720 and PS4, i.e. games that will also have versions released on current gen machines too like the next COD, EA sports titles like Madden, perhaps games like Star Wars 1313 & Watchdogs as well. And then we'll see a few exclusives like Kinect 2 games or maybe finally something new from Rare on the 720, and who knows what PS4 will launch with, maybe a new Motorstorm game and something from Insomniac like Resistance 4.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
