During an interview with co-founder of Sucker Punch Productions, Bruce Oberg was asked by a British Eurogamer about the possibility of creating the next inFamous. He replied;

. ”We have a great relationship with  [Sony] and adore the PlayStation platform. I’m not lying when I say that, for us it is a killer technology platform to work with.

He added,” the media, marketing, and also the approach, allowing us to make the game we want to do is really incredible.”

Sucker Punch is the development team behind the recent serious Sly or inFamous  the next infamous installment will likely appear on the PS4.

Well they have been working on something all this time since inFamous 2. Sony really need to get their marketing right for next generation. They sent this game out during E3. No one other than hardcore fans of 1st are going to pick it up when everyone is busy with gaming news.

they are rumored to be working on two projects. THey can do no wrong really, I can't wait to see what they bring :D

They released this pic a while back. Guess they are beginning to use Mocap. Although the character has a gun so it might be a new IP.

I really don't see them making infamous 3 anytime soon. They made 2 games on a console that has a 72million user base, and the last one didn't sell well, So why make one on a console that will have a 10m user base first year at best.

A shooter is fine with me. Infamous is also a kind of shooter but you just shoot electricity from the palm of your hands which makes it pretty cool. 

I think inFamous 2 is very undertracked. Why would Sony buy them after they released inFamous 2 if it wasn't successful. Also remember Festival of Blood? It was once the fastest selling PSN game of all time only to be beat out by Journey (and we now how popular Journey was). I hope one day that sales figures include digital + retail sales.

I honestly don't expect an inFamous 3. Considering both endings of inFamous 2, I think the franchise got a decent good end with inFamous 2.

I doubt it if it's undertracked but selling over 1 million is actually pretty good.  I'm sure it brought in a good amount of profits with InFamous 2.

Personally I think the games are good, nothing special.  I find Sucker Punch to be one of the most over rated developers on any console but that is just me.  I like InFamous and Sly has been ok, but for all the praise they get they really havent made anything that great.  Just my opinion though.  I hope they reveal a new ip but Ill play InFamous 3 if they do make it.
