Said Kotaku.

Anyway, I'm surprised how many replies above me failed to click the link. We request sources on this website but no-one ever bothers to check them :(

I certainly won't click a link that doesn't tell me which website I'm linked to. From close friends I'll accept tinyurl's and the like, but not on a forum. Especially not when the post emphasizes that I should click that weird looking link.

When googling parts of the text supposedly in the article I get this thread as only close result, while the other results are clearly to other topics, so the text can't be from a big website.

Yeah.  Now that I think about it, I was a bit gung-ho clicking it.  I trust JayWood.  But maybe I shouldn't have!

It was just this, for anyone who didn't take the plunge.

Has no one in here been in the Kotaku/PS4 rumour thread?

If I were Sony, I'd make all their A-list devs do Vita games. At least more are coming around than in the PSP-generation.

Since Vita is not a Naughty Dog game away from anything resembling success, I think it would behoove Sony to keep their A-listers focused on PS4 where ND and Guerilla can make everyone's eyes bleed with many, many graphics and the platform is more suited to their particular values. Sony's biggest fuck up was probably aiming the Vita so singularly at the West instead of realizing that only Japanese developers take handheld gaming seriously and that, to the extent it was successful, the PSP did so almost entirely on its strength in Japan. I don't know if they thought that because PSP did so well in Japan, Vita was just a shoo-in there, and if they could just seal up the West where the PSP had lagged they'd be sitting pretty. But then again if that was their plan, considering how anemic their Western support has been, I don't know if they thought at all.

I think Sony spent $50 million in ads for the Vita in North America alone. I didn't see a single one. So if I were Sony, I wouldn't have advertised at all and would have taken that $50 million and gone shopping for exclusives instead. Every advertisement for an exclusive game is an advertisement for the system, anyway.

I don't bother clicking on a source when I know I'm reading bs. Same as when I'm reading something obvious. You should have said "Superbot, the makers of PSASBR, are going multiplatform after disappointing sales." That would have been realistic enough for me to need to validate it.

We were as confused as you was and questioned him further and whether this meant that they are possibly going multiplatform.  As we all know Naughty Dog recently met up with Josh Reigns from Microsoft as well.  Is this just a coinicedence or is there actually some kind of story behind it.

@Bold

How does one use were and then proceed to use was in the same sentence?

OT: Never.
