I've been a fan of Nintendo ever since the SNES days but for me the Wii was quite a let down of a console.  While it was hugely successful for Nintendo I often felt overlooked and somewhat forgotten as a core gamer.  While the DS and 3DS delivered many awesome games for my tastes the Wii sat mostly gathering dust over the past few years. 

The Wii Us launch library was also fairly disappointing for me.  The only game of interest for me was NSMBU and while its a solid Mario game it didn't wow me.  I quickly was getting worried Nintendo just wouldn't be that interesting in the home console space for me again this gen.

Today changed everything.  The new game from Monolith looked stunning, Fire Emblem x Shin Migami, Bayonetta 2, Wonderful 101, Wind Waker HD, new Yoshi, and even Lego City look excellent.  Bravo Nintendo and an excellent showing.

So was anyone who was doubting Ninty, or not impressed early on with U changed your minds?  

Now they don't have shit to announce at E3 all of you guys who went ape shit today will criticize them for not showing anything new at E3.

And yes my opinion has changed.

no but seriously the non core are happy which is good. they still haven't announced a huge game changer for it to take off like Wii1 did but there is lots to time and its selling good for now

Says who?  You think no new game annoucments will happen from here to June? 

Plus we get a playable Mario Kart and Mario 3D at E3 along with SSB screens/footage.

They already confirmed new Mario Kart, New SSB, and a new 3D Mario for E3.  Not to mention no one knows what Retro is making or 3rd parties

They will have plenty to show at E3 Im sure

Zelda HD, Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros are games that will be at E3.  aybe not Zelda HD.  We also know very little about the 3DS lubrary coming so I think you may have said that a little prematurely.  We could get new announcements as well that we dont know about.

Did you not see the trailer for Monoliths new RPG?  Thats as core as it gets and looks exactly like what Ive been waiting for for a while.  A huge open world beautiful JRPG.  

honestly I was getting worried because of lack of news but I already have a WiiU and today was amazing. so far the only thing that has disappointed me is that i don't get to play Pikmin 3 for a while
